Bedford Gallery Docents receive training in art history and effective touring techniques, presentations by artists, and opportunities to learn about various media and approaches to art-making. Docents lead school tours of the gallery and provide hands-on art projects that are germane to the current show. Bedford Gallery exhibitions offer an arts education that many schools no longer provide and gallery Docents engage students with lively, participatory tours.
