Come by the Civic Park Community Center on Tuesday, December 10th, at 10 a.m., to learn about a number of affordable housing resources available in Walnut Creek. We’ll go over the City’s Home Rehabilitation Loan and Emergency Repair program, administered by Habitat for Humanity, as well as an upcoming January Homeowner Orientation for Habitat’s 42-unit Las Juntas development. Information will be provided about the First-Time Homebuyer Assistance Program. We’ll also look at existing affordable senior housing options. Lastly, we’ll talk about 211 Contra Costa, a 24/7 toll-free resource.
In addition to housing resources, we’ll highlight sustainability programs like BayREN Home+, which offers cash rebates for energy efficiency improvements in your home.
