You are invited to a virtual community workshop, hosted by the City of Walnut Creek’s Community and Economic Development Department. Join us to learn about the Sustainability Action Plan, to see what the Walnut Creek community has achieved since the current Climate Action Plan was adopted in 2012, and to provide your input on future sustainability efforts!

Please join us virtually on Wednesday, July 29th from 6:00-7:30 PM to provide your thoughts on how the Walnut Creek community can increase its sustainability and resilience to climate-change related hazards, and to reduce overall greenhouse gas emissions. This workshop will be interactive and conducted using Zoom, an online video/audio conferencing platform. Workshop participants can join us from a personal computer, tablet, or smart phone with an internet connection. Participants will also have the option to join by phone only if internet access is not available.

The workshop will include a presentation describing the Sustainability Action Plan and documenting the City’s progress to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and expand sustainability in Walnut Creek. We’ll follow the presentation with small group discussions where participants will discuss and provide input on future sustainability efforts.
