Explore the influence of art on music through a tour of exhibitions and museums with the Contra Costa Wind Symphony as your docent and tour guide. We present examples of the impact of conventional art on music as well as other forms of visual art, including the visual palette of the mind.

We are excited to have featured guests, Grant Larson on alto sax and Tom Hemphill on vibraphone, performing together for the first time on John Williams’s masterpiece Escapades. Plus there will be plenty of other Pictures, Paintings, Preludes, and Scenes for everyone to enjoy.
