Giving in Gratitude is a service group hosted by Walnut Creek Recreation giving those ages 50 and better the opportunity to give back to their community without a long-term commitment. Please join Open Space staff at Sugarloaf Open Space for our annual spring clean-up of the native plant garden. This beautiful little garden contains native plants from all of the Open Space areas and early spring is go-time to prepare the garden for visitors. This will involve some weed pulling, shoveling and spreading material. We have jobs for all levels of involvement. Wear clothes that can get dirty and closed-toe shoes.
