The Advisory Committee is a 7-member body that was appointed by City Council to play a key role in the Your Parks, Your Future planning process. The purpose of the Advisory Committee is to provide a public forum to discuss and offer guidance to City staff and the consultant team on key aspects of planning process and to promote broader public participation throughout the duration of the project. Committee input will be used to inform the planning concepts and project deliverables. Members of the committee have been selected by the City Council to represent the diverse interests of the Walnut Creek community.
