The Contra Costa Consortium (represented by the cities of Antioch, Concord, Pittsburg, Walnut Creek, and the County of Contra Costa) receive federal funding from several U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development programs every year, receiving more than $50 million over a five-year period. These funds can be used to address the needs of low-income residents by building new affordable housing, rehabilitating homes, improving public facilities, providing services to lower income residents, helping the homeless, and more.
What do you think Walnut Creek’s greatest needs and funding priorities are for the next five-year period? Your feedback will help the City draft the Consolidated Plan for 2020-2025, outlining how the funds will be prioritized. Please take the “Community Needs Survey” at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/N9CKWX7
You can also attend the next regional public meeting about the Consolidated Plan to give your feedback:
